The famous Tom Balding Snaffle© mouthpiece features copper inlays to increase salivation and soften the mouth.  Just enough rounding to the bars near the snaffle joint help it to sit comfortably across the tongue and along the palate.  The standard mouthpiece width is 5 1/8" and the ring diameter is 5/16".
